Medical recommendations
Before the Ayahuasca retreat, it is strictly necessary to notify us of any problems with your body and its characteristics. If you are taking any medications, you must tell us about it. Before coming to our Ayahuasca ceremony, the participant receives a video consultation with a therapist. He draws up a personal health card, which includes information about your health status and medications taken. He can make recommendations for reducing the dosage or temporarily stopping medications if necessary in the period leading up to the Ayahuasca retreat. It is very important to understand that any information about your health hidden from the doctor can lead to some complications during the Ayahuasca retreat.
There are drugs that are not compatible with the Ayahuasca ceremony. It is imperative that you give the body enough time to remove them from all systems before Ayahuasca ceremonies. We do not recommend suddenly stopping prescribed medications (including antidepressants) without proper medical advice. The second part of our video meeting is monitoring your mental state. We need to record the internal tasks with which you are going on an Ayahuasca retreat.
